The following record book check sheets will be used for this year's FFA evaluations. The record book check sheets were developed by a committee of teachers under the leadership of Fairfield Union agricultural education teacher, Loren Young. All individual FFA award applications must have their record books checked at their respective FFA district evaluation.
While the check sheets are simplistic in nature, they will assure that all necessary information is included in the record books. The check sheets are not meant to be used as an instructional aid in the classroom but as tool to be used in the evaluation process. Teachers are encouraged to use the record book evaluation sheets that were developed by former teachers of agriculture, Harold Niehaus and Kip Hamilton. Teachers utilizing these evaluation sheets will have little difficulty during the FFA evaluation process as it pertains to record books.

This year, all districts will be reviewing all record books and award applications on a countywide or subdistrict basis.
