Memorials & Endowments

Memorials allow friends of agricultural education and the FFA to be remembered on a perpetual basis. Named endowments may also be established with the annual interest used to inspire and motivate FFA members.

Endowment funds were put into place in 1993 and focuses on securing continual support to FFA members. All contributions are invested and only the interest is used annually on FFA awards, scholarships and programs. Suggested contributions begin at $1000 and can be made payable over five years.

The Ohio FFA Foundation Inc. is proud to be a part of The Columbus Foundation. Our partnership increases the level of service the Ohio FFA Foundation can provide to individuals that would like to leave a legacy with the Ohio FFA. With increasing need for the services of nonprofit organizations and fewer sources of support, endowment building becomes critically important for future stability and growth. The Columbus Foundation is the sixth largest community foundation in the United States with managed assets of $742 million. The Ohio FFA Foundation Inc. operates as normal with the expertise of The Columbus Foundation’s staff to support our planned giving programs. Their staff will provide technical assistance with deferred giving education and the legal language needed to establish the fund or add to the fund through a bequest.
